Novice Rowing

Novice Information Meeting is at 6:00pm in PE E 120 on Monday, September 24th

The Novice Rowing Program is for individuals who have completed UART LTR and wish to continue rowing in the fall & winter season. Here, athletes will compete against other Novice rowers across the province and in B.C.. Practice commitment is a minimum of two times per week and a maximum of five times per week. Practice times will very likely be on the same days and times as LTR sessions, alterations may be done depending on number of individuals interested in the Novice Program. There is no mandatory team clothing purchases for Novice rowers, however it is suggested that athletes look into having a yellow and green t-shirt at hand for regattas. The University of Alberta Bookstore in SUB has many t-shirts with the school colours.

To find more about the Novice Rowing program, UART will hold an information meeting in the evening on Monday, September 24th for more information and to answer any questions you might have. As well, during LTR, talk to the instructors and they will be able to tell you more.
